On December 20, more than 140 people from all regions of Latvia came to the Latvian Society House for the Christmas celebration of the \u201cChildren of Siberia\u201d foundation. Haralds S\u012bmanis\u2019 songs were sung and played by Ilze Grunte, Zane \u0160mite and Andris Grunte. Magdal\u0113na Geka played the violin and L\u012bga Reitere conducted the Christmas celebration at the end. Those who were born in Siberia, in the families of those deported in 1941 and 1949, whose life stories can be read in Dzintra Geka\u2019s latest book \u201cBorn in Siberia\u201d, which was also presented during the evening, were especially invited.<\/p>\n
